Last Monday I had the honor of photographing an intimate wedding in Breckenridge for two warm and loving people – Kimberley and Greg.
Credit goes out to Kimberley for being a DIY girl and creating all the decorations for the occasion and baking her own wedding cake (it was delicious!), while her father made a wonderful cake holder from an oak tree. There were some seriously creative and talented individuals at this wedding. Wow!
Thank you again to everyone involved for their friendliness and hospitality, and making sure I didn’t leave the event without plates of food to nibble on the long drive home. (haha) The pizza was tasty, and the desserts even more so! Wishing Kimberley and Greg the utmost happiest and rewarding future together. *hug*

Absolutely gorgeous!!

Hi Bella, I love the photo of the bride and groom in amongst the trees and snow, nice composition. Such a beautiful, creative wedding, you are the perfect person to photograph it!
That cake is INSANE! Holy smokes! And these photos are absolutely gorgeous. Dream come true setting + good ol’ fashioned pizza and beer… Looks like an amazing time!
Beautiful set! Well done.
Several of my favorite frames from the recent engagement session with Stephanie and Jeremy (with a brief cameo by their two dogs, Ellie and Piper!). I never get sick of saying how much I adore each and every couple that I’ve had the honor of photographing this past year. I have met some of the loveliest people along the way, and Stephanie and Jeremy are no exception!

Any couple that brings their dogs to a photo shoot is A+ in my book.

Early in December I had the honor of photographing Miranda and Mike’s engagement photos in Denver. Suffice to say, they were a wonderfully fun, relaxed, and delightful couple to end an amazing year with!
Thank you Meredith & Mike for being such lovely people to chat to and photograph. I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and an amazing time during your upcoming wedding in Florence, Italy. You know I have serious travel envy! So lucky! ;)

Sarah first contacted me with a delightfully sweet e-mail months ago when she was first looking at wedding dates for 2012. Unfortunately her preferred date fell right on the same weekend that I would be overseas for a family reunion, and I sadly went about e-mailing her back to give her the bad news. She responded by saying that regardless, she wanted me to capture her engagement photos, and I was simply flattered to have a couple wishing to go out of their way to work with me!
It funnily enough ended up working out that she had to reschedule the wedding date, and so we arranged to meet for coffee and discuss photography options for her wedding day. In person, Sarah was about as likable, quirky, and creative as her e-mails had hinted. That, and I have *never* met a bride so organized in my life. I was really quite impressed by the thick notebook and papers she carried along with her to our meeting! Sarah also happens to be a boots and scarf kinda girl, which made me laugh out loud as her attire was essentially a mirror image of what I like to wear too. In any case, we had a great time finally sitting down for coffee, and the rest I guess is history!
I met up with Sarah and Bennett to shoot engagement photos a couple of hours after arriving home from Hawaii. I had unfortunately misread my itinerary and thought I would be home hours earlier, but I was defiant about making this work out. Winter was upon us and we all had our heart set on a fall photo shoot. Luck appeared to be on our side, as that particular day turned out to be one of the most gorgeous days of fall, and we had an absolute blast shooting around Fort Collins and at a few stunning locations within the mountains that Sarah and Bennett had picked out in advance. After several hours of shooting, we then all sat down to relax at a local Japanese restaurant for some good food and conversation. Overall a great day!
Thanks again Sarah and Bennett for being such a fun couple to spend the afternoon and evening in the company of – like a broken record I’m so excited for your upcoming wedding in 2012!
